Colliding elements from both past and present New Balance designs with international flair, the Gator Run returns from the archives in rare form. Once an athletic turf shoe, the ‘80s classic turned bold low-profile lifestyle model has been reimagined into the Basketcase x New Balance Gator Run “Maiden”. Drawing inspiration from global soccer, the “Maiden” colorway highlights light blue mesh upper bases marked by matching “N” branding and maroon suede panels. The colorway is tied together through stark white leather linings and colored midsoles paired with contrasting black rubber outsoles. While expressing contrasting environments where soccer is played, the Basketcase Thumper logo at the tongue, DIY inspired detailing like the braided laces, pin customization serves to bring the shoes together through a more personal, lived-in, self-made energy.

Each pair is packaged with alternate laces and a pin pack within an exclusive co-branded box that continues the striping motif seen on the insoles, and rounding out a release that is both a tribute to personal history and an expression of creative identity.
